Manifesto: Five demands for clean democracy and youth-led governance

Bhartiye GenZ Party Official Manifesto

Our manifesto is a practical democratic reform agenda for a generation that wants clean institutions, transparent power and equal representation.

Our Five Demands

Five clear promises for a stronger democracy.

Inspired by citizen accountability movements, rewritten for Bhartiye GenZ Party with a responsible, constitutional and action-focused approach.

End post-retirement political rewards

Judges and constitutional officeholders must not receive political seats, party posts or favour-based appointments as a reward for their tenure. Public trust requires distance between justice and political benefit.

Protect every legitimate vote

No eligible citizen should lose voting rights because of careless deletion, data error or political manipulation. Every voter deletion must be auditable, appealable and punishable when done deliberately.

50% representation for women

BGP supports equal women representation in Parliament, state assemblies, cabinets, party committees and candidate selection. Democracy cannot be modern when half the population is underrepresented.

Free and independent media

India needs transparent media ownership, anti-monopoly safeguards, protection for independent journalists and clear disclosure of political or corporate influence in news platforms.

Strict anti-defection reform

Any elected MLA or MP who changes party after taking votes under one symbol must resign and face voters again. Repeat defectors should face a long cooling-off period from public office.

Beyond The Five

The GenZ governance code.

These operating principles guide every policy, campaign and public issue desk of BGP.

01

Open reports

Publish progress notes, funds used, campaign status and public feedback in simple language.

02

Youth policy cells

Students, founders, creators, professionals and researchers should help draft real policy solutions.

03

Citizen issue tracking

Every complaint should have a category, urgency score, location, responsible team and public update.

Read it. Question it. Improve it. Then join the work.

A manifesto is not a poster; it is a public contract. Bhartiye GenZ Party invites citizens to debate, improve and implement these demands.
